Community Day of Service Rescheduled Due to Weather

Due to the threat of severe weather, the All In for Our Community: Day of Service, originally scheduled for inauguration weekend, has been rescheduled to Monday, January 19, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) to ensure a safe and meaningful experience for all volunteers.

We’re thrilled that you want to be part of this meaningful day, giving back to our community and helping make a difference across New Orleans. Volunteers like you are what make this event possible!

Please access the sign-up form by clicking the button below to register. Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation with details about your assigned site, check-in procedures, and any materials or instructions needed for the day. Volunteer sites will include NORD Parks, Recreation Centers, and Playgrounds across the city, and assignments will be based on priority sites, group size, and availability. All volunteers will receive guidance from our day-of-service partner, HandsOn, so you can expect future correspondence directly from them regarding your assignment.

Volunteers should expect to assist with projects that focus on beautification, clean-up, and general maintenance to help enhance and care for our community spaces. Volunteers are encouraged to come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear, follow directions from site leads and bring a positive, collaborative attitude to support both the space and your fellow volunteers.
